Telephoto Shots Using OpticZoom and B-300 Olympus - Assorted
All shots on this page except the moon
(last shot) were taken with the Nikon CP990 using either the native wide angle,
3x optical or Eagle Eye OpticZoom 5x telephoto adapter. Some were taken
with the addition of the Olympus B-300 1.7X tele adapter attached to the
threaded front end of the OpticZoom. All shots were resampled from their
original resolution to 800x600 with PhotoShop's default unsharp mask applied
once. All series shots were taken from same location and all were hand-held.
With the OpticZoom and the CP990 or CP950 you get 575mm or 15X, with the Olympus
B-300 attached to the OpticZoom, you get 977.7mm or (25.5X). The Moon shot was
taken hand held through the 25mm eyepiece of a Meade telescope at about 125X
